[11/17/09] An email message was received by some PrinMail users this morning from "Technical Support Unit" asking recipients to reply to the message and send them your password. This message did NOT originate from Principia! We will never ask you for your password. Please ignore/delete any such messages whenever they are received.

Here's where you can look up email addresses for friends and relatives who have listed themselves in our online directory.
Email for all principia.edu addresses is scanned for both viruses and spam before being forwarded on to associated real email addresses. You should therefore not be receiving the dangerous attachments usually included with such infected messages. Principia strongly recommends that everyone utilize some kind of anti-virus software and that the virus definitions for such software be kept up-to-date. Messages suspected but not definitely known to be spam have a "[Probable SPAM]" indication added to the subject line to alert you.
To receive your free lifetime "principia.edu" address and to add your own email address into the directory, you first need to register for an account. Please do not sign up for a new account if you already have one. If you need help with your username or password, please contact alum@prin.edu. Once registered, you can come back to this page anytime and log in to PrinMail to search the database or modify information about yourself. (To change the "real" email address to which your PrinMail forwards, log in above and click "View your PrinMail account.")
If you don't have a PrinMail account, you can still search the database by clicking the "Public Search" button at the bottom of the page, but some addresses may not be found since PrinMail users have the option to show information about themselves only to other registered PrinMail users.

When you register, you need to read and agree to a PrinMail User Agreement.

If you have already registered and been confirmed, log in by entering your username and password above. If you can't remember your password, click here and a temporary password will be assigned. You will receive a new password by email. (Make sure you log in right away and change it back to one you will remember!)
