Principia College Dance & Organ Concert - Ridgway Auditorium

To honor Black History and Women's History Months (February and March), an organ and dance collaboration comprised of all female composers with half of the program by Black composers is being presented by Principia College in Ridgway Auditorium. The final work by Pamela Decker will feature the Principia College Dance Department with new choreography by Erin Lane, Assistant Professor of Dance. In addition, Organist Dr. Douglas Cleveland, the John Delo Faculty Fellow in Organ at the University of Washington School of Music in Seattle, Washington as well as Director of Music and Liturgical Arts at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, Washington, will be gracing us with his wonderful talent and love for this instrument. Cleveland will be performing on a Rodgers Digital Organ (with six top of the line speakers and amp) donated in 2021 to the Principia Music Department by the family of Boucher, previous organist of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Alton-Godfrey, and grandmother to Christopher Puduski (C’ 21).
