Admissions Counselor |

Position serves as the front-line marketing representative for The Principia School. Travels ten to twelve days (including weekends) per month. Plans and coordinates own travel itinerary. Identifies students of Christian Science for internal database. Documents communication with prospective students and families in internal database. Plans and executes timely and appropriate follow-up with prospective students and families. Works closely with the visiting program to support visiting prospective students during campus visits. Responsible for attending various activities sponsored for Christian Scientists (Discovery Bound, Principia Club events, TMC Youth, and the Christian Science Camps) to develop relationships and maintain communication with prospective and current students. Minimum Qualifications: Active Christian Science church membership. Christian Science class instruction preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Understands and effectively communicates the Principia mission. Self-starter, functions independently and organized. Highly effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Responsible for managing the daily operations, maintenance, and service of the St. Louis Facilities Department including HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical, Carpentry/Paint, Landscaping, Custodial, Fleet Vehicle maintenance, Rental Housing maintenance and office staff operations. Develops and manages department operating budget, deferred maintenance plan and assists with the development of the capital improvement plan. Responsible for the management of maintenance projects. Develops and directs service relationships and maintenance programs in coordination with campus departments and programs. Minimum requirements: Active Christian Science church membership. Christian Science class instruction preferred. Live within 5 minutes of campus. Carry pager, willing to be on call in order to coordinate emergency repairs after hours. Chief Executive |

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive shall be the corporation's chief executive and the chief advisor to and executive agent of the Board. In close consultation with the Board, the individual leads the corporation in accordance with guidelines set by the Board and Principia's Purpose and Policies. The Chief Executive supports the College President and Head of School as they manage their respective campuses, ensuring that they have the appropriate resources, authority and access to the Board to perform their duties and responsibilities. The Chief Executive serves as an ex-officio member of all Board committees except the Audit Committee and is the corporation's key spokesperson. Reporting to the Chief Executive are the Head of School (PK-12), the College President, the corporation's Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Advancement Officer, and other officers as appropriate. Qualifications: The Chief Executive must be a dedicated class-taught Christian Scientist, a bold leader who inspires by example. He/she must have experience working with a Board, must be a seasoned team builder and manager within complex organizations, ideally having directed successful organizational transformation. Commitment to high educational ideals and standards and Principia's whole man character education are essential. Excellent communication skills are required. An advanced degree and experience within an educational institution are preferred.

Responsible for managing the maintenance of all school owned rental housing units including major and minor improvements, tenant changes, and various small projects for the facilities department outside of rental housing. Additional Duties: Rotates as “on call” director for non-work hour emergency response. In the absence of the Director and Associate Director assumes full responsibility for the management of the Facilities Department. Assists the Associate Director in leading emergency response teams for building, utility, snow, and other emergencies.
