![]() Freshman Housing
Students living in Principia’s freshman housing say it’s “fun,” “a unified and family atmosphere,” and “a valid learning experience.” Freshmen live in two of the most beautiful and historic residences on campus. Principia’s original architect, Bernard Maybeck, designed Anderson Hall and Rackham Court as part of his original English-village concept for the campus. Upperclass students join the freshmen in the residences as resident assistants (RAs) providing support for the transition to college living, academics, and athletics. RAs and a staff resident counselor in each dorm help create a homelike atmosphere centered around the social, moral, and spiritual values that are at the heart of the Principia community. |
