Visit Campus

Q:  When can I visit Principia College?

A:  During each academic quarter, the College offers three visiting weekend programs.  For exact dates, please refer to the following link: http://www.prin.edu/college/admissions/visit.htm .  College visits are highly recommended for high school juniors, seniors and transfer students.  Non-traditional students are required to visit prior to any future enrollment.

Q:  Does Principia offer assistance with the cost of airfare in order to visit?

A:   Please contact our College Weekend Coordinator, Amber McCartt, at 800-277-4648, ext 2804 or email her at Amber.McCartt@principia.edu for details on the Travel Fund BEFORE purchasing your tickets.
Generally speaking, our Travel Fund offers to cover all but $100 of your travel to Principia for a College Visiting Weekend with the following conditions:

  1. This is a first, official Principia College Weekend visit for a prospective student
  2. All travel is within the U.S.
  3. Flights are from a major U.S. airport.
  4. Two week advance ticket purchase.

If traveling from outside the U.S., the Travel Fund offers to cover all but $100 of your flight between your U.S. port of entry and St. Louis.  Airfare costs will be converted to U.S. dollars.

Q:  How much will the weekend visit cost?

A:  As Principia’s guest, your transportation between campus and the airport and your meals, housing, and the cost of any activities will be taken care of by the College.
