Application for admission
You have two choices for filling out the application for admission.
Respond thoughtfully to the non-objective parts. It is where your individuality can shine. When you are finished, be sure to proofread your entire application for spelling and grammatical errors before you click SUBMIT or mail to the Admissions Office. One academic reference
It must be from a teacher in a core academic subject. If the individual writing the reference has ready access to the internet, have him or her write the reference online and click submit. We’ll have it within a day. Link to our online form: Academic Reference Two Christian Science references
Ask individuals who can tell us about you as a spiritual thinker, preferably your Sunday School teacher or a practitioner who may have helped you. We can not accept references from family members or friends. Link to our online form: Christian Science Reference School transcript(s)
Ask your high school school to send an official copy to the Office of Admissions, Principia College, 1 Maybeck Place, Elsah IL 62028, USA. If your transcript is not in English, you must supply a word-for-word translation in the original format. Africans should send a copy of their senior secondary school national exam results slip. If you have had post-secondary schooling, we need those transcripts as well. Even if you do not intend to transfer credits, you must still send the transcript as part of your academic record. Financial Aid Application
Download this application for New International Students. You should have four pages. You cannot complete this application until the 2008-2009 costs are posted, as you will need those figures to estimate your expenses for next year. Those figures will be available on this website by early December. You cannot complete the financial aid application until then. Please note the request on Page 1 for supporting documents. Without them, the application is incomplete. Certification of Finances Form
This form is your opportunity to indicate the amount of money you/your family can contribute toward the educational cost of your academic year here. Although it has Principia's name at the top, it is actually a standard government form and will become an important part of your visa documentation. If you reference money in a bank account, you need to take the form to the bank and have an official either stamp it or write a two-sentence letter on bank letterhead saying that you (your family) maintain an account at the bank and the indicated funds are available. |
