International Student
Application Overview
Personal expectations
New international students must arrive in August at the start of the academic year. Send the following to Principia College’s Office of Admissions by February 25 of the year you hope to begin. You will find step-by-step instructions on these web pages.
Applying to Principia College as an international student
From the time you make your first inquiry to the Admissions Office to the time you are granted a visa requires the better part of a year. SO START EARLY! You need an email account. The Admissions Counselor for international students is Michaele Hymes. She will be your contact in the Admissions Office and will help you with the application process. You can contact her at intladmissions@prin.edu. Confirm with her that you are eligible to apply. You must have been an active Christian Scientist for a minimum of a year before we can accept your application. Financial Aid
Financial aid awards are based on demonstrated financial need, which is determined from information about the student and his/her family's income, assets, and expenses. Financial aid is available to both one-year Enrichment and four-year Degree candidates. Principia is a private college, so more expensive than a public institution. If you are a committed Christian Scientist and Principia is your college of choice, do not automatically assume you cannot afford a Principia education. Generous financial aid options are available. This aid is applied to tuition, room, and board. But there are some additional expenses you must be prepared to assume – expenses you incur when you choose to attend a school in another country:
These costs are not Principia’s responsibility. |
