This fund is available to students who are citizens of and residents in Great Britain. Priority is given to those attending Principia for their first year or for one year only. Your application to this fund should be made at the same time as your application to Principia (February 15 deadline).
How to apply:

1. Make copies of the two completed financial forms that you sent to Principia, along with the personal essay from your application:
• Principia College's New International Student Financial Aid Application
• Certification of Finances

(Supporting documents and bank statements are not needed)

2. Write or email to the Prin Club UK Chairman, Ali Miller, Broomwood, South Park, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1EL (alimiller@principia.edu) to request financial aid from the Scholarship Fund. Enclose the copies of the financial forms together with a copy of the personal essay you have written as part of your application to Principia.

On receipt of your application an informal interview will be arranged for you and your parents to meet with the Chairman of the Prin Club and two of the Trustees of the Fund. This helps us assess the financial requirements and consider everyone’s situation fairly. It also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. All information will be kept confidential by those interviewing you.

Following the interviews, the Prin Club UK works with Principia’s Office of Financial Aid to coordinate the awards. Confirmation of financial aid packages, including the UK awards, will be sent to you from Principia in April. The UK funds are sent directly to Principia in August.
