Principia College:
Admissions
International Student
What happens after I have submitted everything?

The Admissions Committee members read everything you have submitted and discuss each applicant in an effort to reach the decision that will bless both the College and the candidate.  The Committee meets in early March, and once again in April to make final decisions on all international applications.  If your application file is complete well before the February 25 due date we'll try to get you a decision earlier. If the decision is to admit you, Financial Aid Staff will then determine the amount of your financial aid award.  Because of Principia’s spring break, it will be April before all financial aid awards are finalized.

Once we know the amount of your aid, we send you a breakdown of your projected finances for the 2008-2009 academic year.  You will be required to send the amount of your contribution for the fall term at this time.  The local health authorities also ask us to require TB tests of all new international students.  When we receive your fall term payment and the (negative) results of your TB test, we will send you visa documents. You will need to arrive here in mid-August
