Michaele Hymes
Michaele Hymes has a love for Principia that has grown each year since she first arrived on campus in 1987. At the top of her list, she says, are “the many incredibly wonderful people in this community and the supportive relationship between faculty, staff, and students.” Michaele has been a long-time supporter of the international student program at Principia. She says, “I love helping students from other countries find their way to Principia. The fact that 14 percent of our students are international makes our college community an especially rich one. “I, too, began my young adult life by spending four years away from the U.S. in countries very different from my own, and I consider that experience priceless. I experienced more personal growth, became a far more knowledgeable and caring global citizen, and began to truly understand ‘…that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love.’ If you want to better understand yourself, your own country, your world, and your faith, consider coming to Principia College as an international student.” Michaele offers one more key to getting to know her: “If you call me and wonder how to say my name, it’s pronounced like Michael Lee. I’d love to hear from you. Email: intladmissions@prin.edu |
