The Chairman's Scholarship is a four-year scholarship valued at 3/4 of tuition each year, awarded to first-time freshmen in the fall or winter quarter. See Qualification Standards for first-time freshmen enrolling for winter quarter or our Merit Scholarship home page for additional information.

To apply, you must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.8 in solid academic courses. Applicants must also have earned a cumulative SAT score of at least 1300 or a composite ACT score of 29. Qualifying scores will not include the score earned on the new writing test. This scholarship is renewable each year for students who maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 at Principia.
