Dr. Scott Schneberger joins us as Dean of Academic Affairs. Scott served 20 years as a naval intelligence officer, retiring at the rank of Commander. He served in Vietnam and his last post was Head of Plans and Policy for the Director of Naval Intelligence at the Pentagon. His PhD is in information systems and he has taught at all levels at six universities. He has published numerous articles and teaching cases. He comes to us most recently from Appalachian State University where he directed the Center for Applied Research on Emerging Technology. Scott and his wife Cosy are Prin alums as is their daughter, Sunny who graduated from the Upper School and College.

Lee Ellis is our new Athletic Director. He has been Principia’s head women’s soccer coach since 1996, a 5-time conference coach of the year. His teams have won the National Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award 12 consecutive years. Lee has served assistant athletic director and NCAA Compliance Coordinator. He was previously athletic director at NY Institute of Technology. Lee has undergraduate and graduate degrees in education from University of Albany and an MBA from RPI.

Dorsie Glen is our new Dean of Students. She started her career at Principia in 1989. Her first post was resident counselor in Clara McNabb. She has served as Residence Director for the past 11 years and has been Resident Counselor on four Hawaii Field Programs. She has worked under five Deans of Students.

Brian McCauley joins us as our first Dean of Enrollment Management. Brian has extensive experience in government, business, and entrepreneurial endeavors. He served as Assistant to Governor in Washington State; he founded two companies in the satellite television business, and served as the Managing Publisher of the Christian Science Monitor. Brian has a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis on Character Development. As many of you know, he and his wife, Annie are Prin alums and Brian served as Student Body President his senior year.
