Did you know?
Joe McNabb has been a women's dorm since the year 2000. We have wonderful, dynamic, enthusiastic women from all over the world. Our house emphasizes a sense of sisterhood and family. We enjoy each other's diversity and support each other's activities. Joe is filled with athletes, musicians, dancers, student leaders, environmental enthusiasts, solar car participants, etc. etc. etc.

Growing in our spiritual understanding of Christian Science and living and practicing what we are learning in our daily lives are two main themes in the rich tapestry of Joe McNabb.  Included in that is the desire to reach out to all within the dorm with a sense of inclusiveness and brotherly love along with enjoying tons of fun activities together.  Joe McNabb is really ‘home’ for the women who live here, and we all love being a part of it!

“During my first quarter in Joe McNabb I fell in love with the dorm.  It’s not the architecture or the location of this dorm that makes it so attractive, but the type of people and the atmosphere inside the house.  I love the quality of thought that these Joe girls exhibit and the support each of us unselfishly offers to our sisters.” (Anna Warmack)

“What really matters in a dorm? Twenty years after graduation are you going to be reminiscing about the shape and size of a dorm room, or about the strong friendships you developed with your sisters?  There is such a wonderful sense of love in our house.  Even though this is my first year in Joe, I would feel comfortable talking or hanging out with any of the amazing women in our dorm.  We celebrate each other’s diversity, unite in our house spirit, and rejoice in our love for Christian Science.  What more could you want?” (Juliana Ko)
