Housing for Freshmen
Rackham Court
Year built: 1937 Did you know? Say two residents: "Rackham has the perfect balance between the feeling of an elegant English mansion and a warm home-like atmosphere. I’ve spent many nights doing my homework in the living room—right next to a blazing fire in the massive fireplace. When the homework is complete I often head downstairs to the rec-room. There I am able to relax with friends and watch a movie on the big screen TV, play pool, or cook up something tasty in the kitchen. "This sharing, all-inclusive atmosphere is the social normalcy in Rackham house. It’s a place where men and women can have their privacy, and at the same time have the opportunity to make close friendships that will stay with them through college and for the rest of their lives."" |
