SECOND GRADE SUPPLIES FOR FALL, 2006

We will be using desks in second grade. Please label everything with your child’s name.

Items that you purchased from the Parents’ Association fundraiser or should purchase on your own:

1. Plastic pencil box (7x11)
2. 24 SHARPENED #2 pencils and 1 hand held sharpener (labeled)
3. Three pink erasers – no toy shapes, please
4.  Box of 24 crayons
5. Box of 24 colored pencils (sharpened)
6. Box of thin markers (watercolor only)
7. Wide – ruled notebook paper – 150 sheets
8. 1 steno pad (6x9)
9. 3 large Elmer’s brand glue sticks and 2 large bottles Elmer’s glue
10. 1 pair comfortable scissors
11. 2 dry erase markers – black
12. 1 small (3x5) memo pad with a top wire spiral
13. 1 box Kleenex brand tissues (160 count)
14. 1 roll paper towels
15. 1 marble composition book
16. 1 large box (gallon size) Ziploc bags

17. Tote or backpack
18. List of books read during the summer
19. 1 old sock for slate work
20. Sweater or sweatshirt – labeled please
21. Smock for art ( an old BIG shirt will work)
22. An extra change of clothes (optional)
23. Bathing suit, REQUIRED, labeled with name
24. Favorite picture book to share with class
