The Principia Lower School

FOURTH GRADE SUPPLIES FOR FALL, 2006

Items that you purchased from the Parents’ Association fundraiser or should purchase on your own:

 Please do NOT label these items. (They are placed in a class pool.)

• 1 ream wide-lined notebook paper
• 24 yellow #2 pencils
• 2 large Elmer’s brand glue sticks
• 1 pink erasers
• 6”x9” 60-sheet sketchbook (Roaring Springs brand or comparable brand)
• 1 black dry erase markers – thick tip
• 2 black ball-point pens
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 2 large boxes of Kleenex tissues
• 1 box of quart-sized Ziploc bags
• 1 yellow highlighter
• 3 100-page journal notebooks (not tear out pages)

      Please label the following items:

• 1 pair of child’s scissors (Fiscars brand)
• 6-inch ruler
• 1 box of 12 Berol Prismacolor or Crayola brand colored pencils

Items to label and bring from home:

• tote or backpack
• sweater or jacket to stay at school all year
• art smock (a BIG old shirt is fine)
• 1 small summer item (bike helmet, ticket, souvenir, etc.)
• 1 pair of socks for erasing slate board in math
• pair of dark shorts
• Principia t-shirt
• sturdy multi-purpose athletic shoes secured with laces or Velcro (may be worn to school or kept at school)
• bathing suit – REQUIRED
• These clothes need to stay at school: an old t-shirt, an old pair of shorts/sweatpants & sweatshirt.
• 1 pair of spare socks
• 2 homework folders with 2 pockets
