SIXTH GRADE SUPPLIES FOR FALL, 2006

Items that you purchased from the Parents’ Association fundraiser or should purchase on your own:

1. One 2” three-ring notebook (Trapper Keeper type) (Mead 5 Star or Mead Pro Platinum brand)
2. One 1 ½” three-ring notebook
3. Two reams of wide-lined notebook paper
4. One side spiral bound notebook (Mead 1 subject, 100 sheets, wide ruled)
5. One package of notebook dividers
6. Ten #2 pencils - SHARPENED
7. Two pens- blue and black
8. Two highlighters
9. Colored pencils for map work – SHARPENED (Crayola brand)
10. Crayons – 24 box variety
11. Three dry erase markers (any color) (Expo brand)
12. One jar of rubber cement
13. One large glue stick
14. Scissors - with child’s name on them, 7” all-purpose/student - NOT 5” (Office Accents or Fiscars brand)
15. Small pencil box (5x8)
16. 12” ruler with centimeters/inches (Flexi-Ruler brand)
17. One package 3x5 lined index cards
18. 1 box of tissue (Kleenex brand)

Items to bring from home (Bring the following items labeled with your child’s name.):

1. Art smock (an old shirt is fine)
2. Backpack
3. Reading list – all books read over the summer
4. Pair of dark shorts
5. Principia T-shirt (purchased at Principia’s bookstore)
6. Sturdy multi-purpose athletic shoes (secured with laces or velcro—no slip ons); may be worn to school or kept at school
7. Boys - bathing suit, REQUIRED, (labeled with name); Girls - school provides suits, but may wish to bring your own labeled with name
8. A sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants need to be left at school

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON ALL CLOTHING AND BELONGINGS.
