Trivia Night

TRIVIA BEGINS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 2 AT 7 P.M. CENTRAL TIME. 

UPPER SCHOOL DINING ROOM DOORS OPEN AT 6 P.M.

Trivia Night is a yearly event that the Principia Parents Association (PPA) hosts. The primary purpose is having fun, community building, and supporting the School. This entertaining night is one of the only events of the year strictly for adults. It truly doesn’t matter whether you are good at trivia or not. Principia parents, faculty, staff, college students, alumni, and adult friends are invited to attend.

Each team consists of 6-8 people, and all questions are answered by team consensus. There will be six rounds of 10 trivia questions this year. There are some Trivia goers that take it seriously, but most are there for a fun time with new and old friends! It’s a great way to connect with others, appreciate the strengths of your tablemates, and learn something new!

Themed Tables in Upper School Dining Room

The Upper School Dining Room doors will open at 6 p.m. Some like to arrive early to decorate their table, put on themed costumes and bring dinner (or snacks) for team members to enjoy throughout the evening. 

A mulligan, worth one free answer, will be awarded to two teams with the best execution of an overall theme. If you’re not into dressing up, just come as you are! Costumes are not required. 

Teams will deliberate around their table and submit their answers electronically, using TriviaHub's platform. Please make sure one member of each team brings a fully charged iPad or laptop that the team can use to submit their answers for each trivia question.

Sorry, but tickets stopped selling at 4 p.m. Central Time on March 1.

If you know your team members’ names, it is helpful to input this information when purchasing your ticket on Marketplace. If not, we are happy to put you on a team with others. Consider reaching out to new parents, faculty and staff members when forming your team. 

NEXT STEPS

When you purchase your Trivia Night ticket on Marketplace, make sure you receive a confirmation email to indicate that your purchase was successful. During the week of February 26, we will use the email you provided to send additional instructions. You might want to start thinking about a team name and a captain who will type your team’s answers into the online page provided.
