The Teaching Excellence Fund will pay all expenses for 18 faculty to attend the following selected conferences that focus on classroom teaching.
- We are promoting the following three conferences sponsored by the Lilly Foundation and will be seeking 3 people from each unit to attend the conferences.
- Selection will be on a “First-Come” basis.
- Here’s the deal: We all know that we learn best when we teach others. Upon return you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to collaboratively share the highlights of what you learned at the conference and discuss how we can put it into practice. You could jointly host a lunch discussion with the teaching excellence group or you may conduct your own faculty workshop. The Teaching Excellence Group will support you as you prepare these presentations that will benefit the faculty as a whole. Thanks for your interest!
The Teaching Excellence Fund will also provide up to $1,000 for individuals to attend conferences with an emphasis on improving classroom teaching.

- Submit conference materials and request for funds to any member of the teaching excellence group.
