* Experts
* Future Plans - radiocarbon date, scientific conferences, Summer Session, lab space for Benny, displaying Benny
My plans are to update Progress and Future Plans after every term in which we work on the project.
PROGRESS IN THE FALL 2002
To find out what we found this past fall go to:
www.prin.edu/mammoth/Fall2002.htm
You'll see photos of new bones we found - BIG ones! Also you can see photos of how we buried Benny for the winter to keep him from freezing and thawing.
SPRING 2003
We will open the pit for the spring term with some new students and some eager returning diggers.
SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES and SUMMER SESSION
We have plans to present our find at two professional conferences this spring and to include this project as one of the Summer Session offerings - see Future Plans: www.prin.edu/mammoth/futureplans.htm
I'll be updating the web page at the end of every term of activity. I welcome your comments and suggestions. Have a great winter |
