Brian Reetz: Junior from Louisville, Ky. Began playing in Louisville Soccer Club and played on Arcadia FC as a youth. Brian played at Saguaro and Eastern High Schools and was selected most improved player as a sophomore. At Principia College he played mostly JV as a freshman before breaking into the lineup sophomore year, playing in 12 matches, including three starts late in the season. He should see even more playing time as a back and midfielder in '98. Also plays on Principia's golf team; business administration major.

John Rinnert: Sophomore from Chicago. Started playing in youth leagues in Chicago area; played with Basa FC and played up to U19 for the Fichtre Rams Club, which finished 4th in state in '95. Now member of Fichtre senior men's team. Played high school soccer at Barrington High School where he was the team's MVP in '95. At Principia College, John played regularly with the JV and saw some playing time on varsity as a freshman in the midfield. John should break into lineup as a sophomore. Biology major.

Craig Donaldson: Senior from St. Louis. Captained the Principia Upper School soccer team; selected to the All-League team as a center midfielder while the team won two conference championships; also played with the Scott Gallagher Soccer Club in St. Louis. At Principia College Craig saw regular playing time as a freshman and started as a sophomore and junior at center and wing midfield; contributed two goals and four assists in '97 and is looking forward to a strong senior season. Dean's List student and mathematics major.

Travis Brantingham: Senior from Tucson, Ariz. Started playing in AYSO leagues; joined the White Caps Soccer Club (Exeter, N.H.); played for Scott Gallagher Club (U18) in St. Louis. Travis was captain of Principia Upper School soccer team and was selected to All-League and All-District teams. At Principia College he was a regular as a freshman and became starting sweeper as a sophomore; as a junior he anchored a strong defense which set a new school shutout record in '97. Expecting his best season in '98. Also plays on Principia's baseball team; history major.

Josh Burek: Senior from Schenectady, N.Y. Grew up playing in local youth leagues; played on U12-U14 Capital District Youth Select Team; U12 team was New York State Champion. Josh's high school team advanced to the semifinals of Sectionals for three years, and Josh received the Coaches Award as a senior. At Principia College Josh played JV freshman year before breaking into the varsity lineup as a sophomore; was a starter and All-Conference back as a junior; has made consistent progress as a player. Looking forward to excellent senior season. Also plays basketball and runs track at Principia; economics and political science major.
