Gavin Campbell

Gavin Campbell (US'78) is founder and managing principal at Steelbridge Capital, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in Evanston, Illinois. He previously served as President and CEO of the Florida Office Property Company and Managing Director of Acquisitions at LaSalle Investment Management following work for the federal and state governments as well as the Civic Committee, a Chicago-based economic development nonprofit. He was chairman of the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois, where he co-led efforts to save the internationally acclaimed Mies Van Der Rohe-designed Farnsworth House and open it as a museum. Gavin received a BA from Yale College, holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago, and attended Principia from kindergarten through 12th grade. Gavin lives in Chicago with his wife and three children.
