Ian Forber-Pratt

Ian Forber-Pratt (US’98, C’08) of St. Louis, Missouri, is the Deputy Executive Director for Children's Emergency Relief International (CERI). He oversees social work practice, government relations, and leadership capacity for five country teams in Guatemala, India, Moldova, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Ian is also an adjunct professor at his graduate alma mater, the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis where he teaches in the master's of social policy program. As a baby, Ian was adopted from India and grew up in the United States. He lived and worked in India from 2009–2017, where he met his wife Nargis. The family moved to St. Louis in 2017. Nargis currently works in the Early Learning Center at Principia, where their daughter, Inaya, is in the Early Learning Center. They also have a son, Zane, in the Lower School. Ian is passionate about his teen Sunday School class and frequent mentorship of Upper School students. He also provides professional development trainings at Christian Science summer camps on a range of topics.
